December Code measures placement readiness, then helps you fix it.
A preparation tool for final-year students and fresh graduates in India. Not a recruiter, not a job board, not a promise.
What it is
December Code runs one loop: assess → diagnose → practise → improve → retake. A diagnostic is 10 questions in one subject, easy to hard, about fifteen minutes. It ends in a readiness figure with its arithmetic shown, the topics you missed named, and a practice set sized for today. A retake rotates to the topics the last sitting could not test.
It covers the 5 subjects software placement rounds actually test — DSA, SQL, Aptitude, OOP and DBMS — with 338 problems across 72 topics. Every problem carries a hint, a verdict and an explanation of why each wrong option is wrong.
What it is not
- It does not recruit, place, or guarantee employment. No tool can promise that, and we don’t.
- No company sees your scores. Your results are yours.
- A readiness figure is a measurement of 10 questions, not a prophecy. It tells you where you stand today and what to fix first.
How the score works
Formula v2: score = Σ(weight × correct) ÷ Σ(weight) × 100 over the multiple-choice questions, with weights of 1 for easy, 2 for medium and 3 for hard. Short answers are self-marked, so they are counted beside the score, not in it. A topic scored from a single question is drawn faded until you have attempted three. The arithmetic is printed under every score.
What is free, what is paid
Free never expires: 1 diagnostic a month and 15 problems a day, every subject, every explanation. Paid — ₹299 / month or ₹2,499 / year — removes the caps and adds the personalised roadmap and mock tests. Details are on the pricing page; cancellation and refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Who builds it
December Code is an independent, founder-run product built in India. Questions are written and checked in two passes — a structural pass and an adversarial one that tries to break each answer — before they enter the bank, and the same two passes gate every public page.
